Dabang Delhi K.C. Team Squad

About Dabang Delhi K.C.
Dabang Delhi Kabaddi Club is the only team backed by an institution focused on building a presence across multiple sports in India (owners of Dabang Mumbai HC – the Mumbai franchise of the Hockey India League – the world’s biggest hockey league). Ms. Radha Kapoor, a creative entrepreneur and the only female team owner in the league is a strong proponent of the spirit of “women entrepreneurship”. She owns the team through DoIT Sports.

Dabang Delhi KC holds the exclusive rights to the Delhi/NCR territory and is the only team in North India, which is unarguably the #1 territory/ region for Kabaddi in India (NCR, Punjab, Haryana, UP). The team’s state of the art ‘home arena’ – Thyagaraj Stadiumhas a seating capacity of over 5,000 people is the only Green Stadium in the country, adding to the teams undetermined belief in supporting the environment that we live in (this bit could be made better, but the Green Stadium needs to be tied into the team’s beliefs).

Exports Down 15%

Exports Down 15% – $490b 19th Rank FY14, $403b 20th FY16
June05, 2016 (C) Ravinder Singh progressindia2015@gmail.com

Dear Sant ji,
Tragedy of India is there are PAPPUS everywhere. Everyday GoI tells us that India’s Exports have CRASHED because of Recessionbut India lost Rank. Even BBC cook up such stories. Read the head lines and the last line –. China’s growth in Exports Share by 1.5% is actually $270b – More than India Commodity Exports $261b FY16.

China’s exports and imports slow more than expected

‘China increased its share of world exports from 12.3% to 13.8% last year, meaning that its export sector remained competitive despite higher costs.’
In 2014 China exported $2.37T, making it the largest exporter in the world. During the last five years the exports of China have increased at an annualized rate of 11.8%, from $1.35T in 2009 to $2.37T in 2014.
It is OK for parties to have UNDER QUALIFIED Ministers at the time of SWEARING IN but after 24 months of poor show – All the PAPPUs ought to have been replaced. We Can’t Even Copy ASEAN Policies.
No Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra has desired Qualification & Experience to run India’s biggest state by GDP – 2nd Biggest in population. [Refer earlier report]
China’s Exports is more than GDP of India.

It was thanks to you Naresh –

It was thanks to you
Naresh —
Any minute now, Hillary Clinton should become the first woman in the history of our country to win the nomination of any major party. That wasn’t fated or inevitable — it was because of people like you, Naresh.
The dollars we raised put organizers on the ground in states like North Carolina and Nevada. Your support helped us recruit volunteers in Iowa and Ohio, and put ads on the air in New York and California. It all adds up to more votes earned by any candidate on either side of the aisle and an insurmountable delegate lead.
Before we close this out, we’re making sure that Hillary has a chance to see who has been standing with her.
Will you chip in today — before Hillary Clinton becomes the Democratic Party nominee — and join the 1.3 million people who powered this campaign? When we’re celebrating, you’ll want to know you did everything you could to help her get there (and we’ll also send you a free sticker to say thank you!):

With just days until history is made — you’ll want to be a part of it.

Kareena Kapoor felicitates champions of change in Uttar Pradesh

UNICEF Goodwill Advocate Kareena Kapoor felicitates champions of change in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, 4 June 2016
 – In an event in Lucknow this morning, popular Bollywood actor and UNICEF Goodwill Advocate, Kareena Kapoor, today congratulated a group of adolescent girls for their work in promoting improved menstrual hygiene in Uttar Pradesh. Calling them ‘champions of change’, Ms. Kapoor interacted and spent time with the adolescents who hail from the rural areas of the state.
The young girls are a part of ‘Garima’, a UNICEF-spearheaded project, which addresses and strengthens menstrual hygiene management in Uttar Pradesh. Supported by the IKEA Foundation, the project in three eastern UP districts—Jaunpur, Mirzapur and Sonebhadra—has demonstrated behavioural change and increased awareness and self-confidence among adolescent girls. The project aims at piloting a social and behavioural change and communication strategy for menstrual health and hygiene management among rural adolescent girls in the age group of 10-19 years who have experienced or are about to experience menarche.
Impressed by their work, Ms. Kapoor said, “All the girls I met today are brave and empowered adolescents. They are champions of change and without their contributions we can’t break the silence around gender equality and the rights of girls and women.” “We have countless number of empowered adolescent girls in India and I had the privilege to meet some of them from UP. I would like to thank UNICEF for supporting these girls in their journey. They are now champions of promoting a crucial cause: Menstrual Hygiene Management,” the actor added.
Adolescence is a period of salient physical and psychological changes during which young people learn skills that help them assume control of their lives and make informed decisions. Since menstruation marks the beginning of womanhood, its proper management is critical in promoting healthy reproductive and sexual health. In the absence of access to right information related to appropriate practices and limited access to knowledge on menstrual hygiene, menarche and subsequent menstruation cycles, this phase can be a distressing experience for a young girl.
“Today is a very special day, because we are talking about menstrual hygiene, publicly for the first time. Mother-daughter bonds are very strong and we talk about so many issues but often not about menstruation. We as mothers do not teach our daughters often as they might get scared. Talking about menstrual hygiene is a very important issue. We need to talk about this issue and no longer should it be considered as a social taboo,” said Ms Dimple Yadav, Member of Parliament, Kannauj.
After meeting the girls, Ms. Kapoor attended a felicitation event along with government officials, UNICEF and its partners. In this event—organized to mark the culmination of a week-long celebration of Menstrual Hygiene Day in UP—a convergent roadmap to strengthen states’ plans for adolescent empowerment, with special reference to menstrual hygiene management, was released by the Uttar Pradesh government and UNICEF.
“Despite numerous interventions on sanitation and health, menstrual hygiene and management has not yet received adequate attention. Given the social and cultural taboos around menstruation, addressing it is crucial towards impacting the well-being and empowerment of adolescent girls and also to reduce school drop-out among them,” said Niloufar Pourzand, chief of the UNICEF office, Uttar Pradesh.
