New Delhi October 6, 2012
The Indus Entrepreneurs at its annual conference TiEcon at Delhi 2012 last week saw a noticeably larger number of woman social entrepreneurs, professionals and speakers, even as innovative and interesting twists were weaved into its agenda to bring in a degree of novelty for the 1000 plus participants.
Three social entrepreneurs– Upaya co-founder and ED Sachi Shenoy, 17000Ft Foundation founder Sujata Sahu and Prajawala founder general secretary Suntiha Krishnan—made a deep impact on the attendees by sharing stories of their work often in virgin areas.
Dr Sunitha Krishnan, founder General Secretary, Prajwala has continued her work in the anti trafficking sector despite risk to her own life and that of other volunteers. The never-say-die spirit of Sunitha and her exceptional works over decades …

Naresh – There have been many times in my life when I’ve been counted out — told that I couldn’t do it, told not to speak out for what I believe in, told to not even run in the first place. I’ve only gotten this far because I’ve had people like you with me every step of the way. Right now the other side is trying to obliterate the hard work we’ve put in on the ground in this campaign by flooding the airwaves with factually inaccurate, negative attack ads. If they win, they’re going to dismantle everything we’ve accomplished together over the past three and a half years, and turn back the clock to the same failed policies that got us into this mess in the first place. We cannot let that happen. There are only 32 days left in this campaign. If you’re planning to take the next step, now is the time. Please donate $5 or more today: htt…

Hear Rajiv Shukla asking on news channels today, what is the quid pro quo - to prove Robert Vadra was  beneficiary.....of DLF....
Now found some really really funny stuff....... a)  See what HUDA did in 2010-2012
("Record reveals that DLF, in collusion with the authorities of the state had adopted an alternate method to get the land of the gram Panchayat. Hence, the acquisition of the land in dispute is a colorable exercise of power by the state government and should be quashed," counsel prayed.

HUDA had acquired a total of around 350-acre land of Wazirabad village on two occasions for 'public purposes'. First, 75 acres of land was acquired through notification of September 8, 1997 and then around 275 acres of land was acquired through notification of August 8, 2003. Subsequently, HUDA transferred the l…

Masterclass for Directors leading to Certified Corporate Directorship Certification Course
Dear Mr Sagar,
Further to our tele communication regarding Masterclass for Directors programme.
Directorship is no longer a SINECURE. Recent boardroom reforms introduced in most countries have put the onus of responsibility on Directors. Institute of Directors (IOD) believes that the problem of corporate misgovernance is due to the lack of effective training in Company Directorship.
The proposed new Company Law Bill 2011, seeks to empower the Govt. to make it MANDATORY even for unlisted Public Companies to have atleast 33% Independent Directors on their boards India would need over 40,000 Independent Directors in near future.
The IOD’s Masterclass for Directors, a 3 days condensed weekend Certification training programme, offers a  whole vista of opportunities, especially for those who wish to join the pool of Non Executive Independent Directors and for updating the executive directors.
This is a highly …
