The speaker will talk about her deep concern with the rapid urbanisation of India, the complete lack of planning for arts spaces in these new megalopolis or even smaller towns and the dire need to nurture arts engagements. The lecture will focus on how this nurturing will impact theatre practice across the country.
Ms. Sanjna Kapoor, co-founder of Junoon, is well-known for her passionate work with theatre over two decades, and for having built Prithvi Theatre into one of India’s premier cultural hubs. Fastest car hits 435km per hour in US26022014 United States engineers have developed the world’s fastest car with a top speed of an incredible 435 kilometres per hour. US firm Hennessey’s Venom GT set the new record for the fastest car in the world during a test run at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.Venom beat the previous best record of 431km/h set by Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
