Air India the PSU is so mismanaged that any suggestion
will not bear fruits.But when comparing it with smaller airlines which
are running in best fiscal results.The pragmatic view is that this
nationalized carrier if works with following features can bear fruits.
1.Must function as autonomous body.
2.Has to have status of Public Ltd Co.
3.Before FDI inject it to be open for Govt-Public-Bank/Mutual fund ought to be decided .
4.TO Run professionally without any govt interference.
5.Cost cutting and cost contain exercise can later be worked.
6.Corpse fund with its capacity to have stake in oil consortium.
7.Visionary businessman can run it diligently.
Many more point can be suggested.
Ask government to form a committee and give us the charge.
