Challo Dilli - Dharna from 12th To 14th March at JANTAR MANTAR to Demand Empowerment of Gram Sabhas. No State in the country has empowered their Gram Sabhas and Municipalities as per 73 & 74 Amendments and six additional compulsory function recommended by the Moily committee.  There is an urgent need to execute ‘Blitz Krig’ National Movement for the empowerment of grass root democratic setups in rural and Urban Bharat, spread across the country with relentless efforts and accelerated momentum till the  objective is achieved.   “Kisan and Jawans” will always be there to be part of it.  But the movement must remain peaceful and within the constitutional norms. We want 12th Schedule of the 74th Constitutional Amenment Act, municipalities must be granted 18 functions. The Second Administrative Reforms Commission of 2006 recommends another 5 functions, thus making 23 functions.
