India China Institute (ICI)
The India China Institute would like to invite you to our event, Chat n' Chai, to celebrate the start of a new academic school year which coincides with the Chinese New Year.  The event will take place on Monday, February 13th, 2012, from 5-7pm in Theresa Lang Center, 55 W. 13th St, 2nd Floor.  
 
The India China Institute fosters study, research, and connections between India, China, and the United States.  Established in 2004 with a generous gift from the Starr Foundation, the institute has since received several multi-year grants and support from prominent foundation and other institutions.  
 
The event will highlight the many activities and opportunities the IndiaChina Institute offers; travel research grants to India and China, public programs right here at The New School, volunteer and research positions, and so forth.  
 
The India China Institute strives to promote new ways of teaching about India and China, while serving as public resource through its interactive public events.  We hope you are able to attend our event and learn more about our institute.  
 
Refreshments will be provided.
