He accused the Qatar-based channel of inciting violence during the current standoff between Israel and Palestine. The Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem has seen unprecedented tensions in the last few days over Israel’s decision to install metal detectors and other heightened security measures at the compound. Earlier, the four Arab States led by Saudi Arabia had decided to shutter the presence of Al Jazeera from their countries accusing it of supporting the terror groups like Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda.
