Zardari to nominate the PM

ISLAMABAD: An important meeting of Pakistan Peoples Party was held in the federal capital here Friday in which newly elected members of National Assembly unanimously gave party’s Co-Chairman, Asif Ali Zardari, the right to nominate the new Prime Minister. The meeting was presided over by Asif Ali Zardari, and according to sources, Makhdoom Amin Fahim was likely to become the new PM of Pakistan. PPP’s co-chairman briefed participants about discussions with different political parties as regards government formation. He also thanked PML-N for extending cooperation in this regard. Talking to media News after the meeting, Zardari said meeting was meant to discuss the name of new PM. Newly elected MNAs also attended the meeting.
